I occasionally pass by this bright modern stationary/design studio on my way in and out of Sugarbaby’s, pink box of sweets in tow, before heading to my car.  I’ve never had much of a need for stationary so that’s about all that my experience with PH Design Shop amounted do.  However, now that I’m looking to order graduation invitations, thank you notes, and other graduation related things, I’ve taken a little more time to check them out. 

Houston has a few great letterpress and design shops and many inventive bloggers, but in PH Designs I find both.  Their blog, PH Scoop, focuses less on typography and more on things of general artistic and creative appeal (An aesthetic in which I happen to favor as well).

They have the option of ordering online from their website but if you live in the Houston area I would definitely stop by.  Their design shop is off Shepherd just before Alabama – specifically – 3306 S Shepherd Dr and their retail store can be found in Rive Village @ 2414 Rice Blvd.
