I’ve been doing a little researching for the impending vacation me and the boo are going to take post-rodeo season.  With this, I’ve spent quite a bit of time surfing around the VRBO (Vacation rentals by owner) site. Most truly are like something off of The Holiday – picturesque and/or the definition of luxury.  And much cheaper, if no comparable, to what you would pay for a mid-range hotel room.  So, if you feel the need to waste some time planning a fake vacation, or a real vacation, or simply a night away from home – check it out!  Here are a few super cool places I would love to stay:

California:  Wine Country home @ $225 – $275

Texas:  3/2 home in Terlingua, just outside Big Bend @ $220 a night

New York:  A Greenwich Village Studio @ $125 a night

And Abroad…

Costa Rica:  Nosara Beach Bungalow @ 450/week.  Includes boards, bikes and bajaj

Valencia, Spain: Townhome on the Mediterranean @ $500/week
